The system uses DualCom dual-path signalling (Ethernet/IP + 4G cellular). If one path fails, the second automatically takes over within seconds with no loss of monitoring. Alarms still reach the 24/7 monitoring station instantly, and you still receive app notifications via the cellular path. This is fully compliant with BS EN 50136 and gives the highest level of reliability.

The free Nimbus Notify app gives you and your team real-time visibility of the entire system: live panel status, individual device faults/alarms, event history, and a digital logbook. You receive instant push notifications (even when the phone is locked) with exact device location and description. You can also acknowledge events and run remote tests – all from anywhere.

Nimbus Digital uses bank-grade encryption and is hosted in secure UK data centres. Access is role-based (you control who sees what), and all communications between the panel, DualCom, and cloud are fully encrypted. The platform is designed specifically for life-safety systems and meets all UK data-protection and cyber-security requirements for fire alarm monitoring.

Yes – the DualCom ARC monitoring (police/fire response) and Nimbus cloud service are provided under a simple monthly contract. We will quote the exact cost after the site visit (typically very competitive because we bundle both services). There are no hidden fees, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice if you ever need to.

Almost certainly. Nimbus Connect/nimbusGo is compatible with the vast majority of UK panels (Kentec, Advanced, Notifier, Gent, Morley, C-Tec, etc.). DualCom connects easily to both fire and intruder panels. We confirm exact compatibility during the site visit and carry out a free compatibility check before ordering any equipment.
