Intruder Alarms

BS EN 50131 / PD 6662 & NCP 120 Compliant. Reliable Detection.

Intruder Alarm Solutions

Did you know that around 20-25% of businesses face severe risks of permanent closure following a major burglary or significant break-in incident? Downtime, lost revenue/stock, insurance premium increases, reputational harm, and high recovery costs can force many to shut down permanently within months or a couple of years. A high-quality intruder alarm system is your first and most critical line of defence. It detects unauthorised entry through motion sensors, infrared beams, door contacts, and perimeter protection—triggering immediate alerts to deter intruders, enable rapid response, and provide evidence for police action. When paired with regular risk assessments, CCTV integration, trained staff, clear security protocols, and optional 24/7 remote monitoring, a dependable intruder alarm setup significantly reduces the chance of a break-in escalating into a business-threatening loss.

Yes. Some systems includes a secure mobile app and web portal so you or your team can arm/disarm the alarm, view real-time zone status, check event history, and receive instant push notifications from anywhere. We set up user permissions and provide full training during handover.

We install DualCom dual-path signalling (IP + cellular) for instant, reliable transmission to a 24/7 monitoring station (ARC) with police response where required. The system is installed to BS EN 50131 standards with confirmed alarm technology and remote reset options to minimise false alarms. We also give full user training and false-alarm reduction advice.

We recommend a simple annual maintenance contract with 2 planned service visits per year (battery checks, sensor testing, firmware updates, full system test). This keeps everything reliable and prevents costly breakdowns. We quote the exact monthly/annual cost after the site visit – most customers find it very affordable and far cheaper than emergency call-outs.

Installation time varies depending on the size and complexity of the site. Smaller systems are often completed in 1–2 days, while larger commercial projects can take several days or up to a couple of weeks. We always plan the work around your operations (phased installation where possible, out-of-hours working, weekends if needed) to minimise disruption and keep the site clean and tidy at all times. A detailed programme will be provided after the site survey.

Yes. Our intruder alarm systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with fire alarms (for emergency response and auto-set), CCTV, and access control. We carry out a free compatibility check during the site visit and confirm full integration before ordering any equipment.
